1. Objectives To explore the causes and protective measures post dermatoplasty .

2. Dermatoplasty was performed for large area skin defect in 2 to 3 weeks postoperatively.

3. All cases were undergone external fixation in the emergency room and dermatoplasty, flap transfer and bone lengthening in second stage.
